Our documents are on their way to China (DTC - docs to China)! Now we are waiting for our LID (Log In Date), the date that China logs our documents into their system - and really the date that the countdown (still @ 18 months) will start from.
Okay, let me get this straight. The LID is the 18 month countdown. The baby(ies) you will adopt will likely be 18 months old, am I correct? So does that mean that the baby(ies) are being born right about now? Wow! That's incredible! So I can be praying for a safe delivery and good health during those first few weeks and months.
Actually, when we are matched with a baby(ies), she will will be approx. 1 year old. Then it's about 2 more months before you can travel to China - so we're expecting a 14 month old by the time we are home in the US.
